Delivery Fee Refund Policy
LAS Distance Education Delivery Fees
Delivery fees are utilized to cover the following costs specifically related to delivery of distance and online courses:
- Purchase and replacement of technology (hardware & software) needed to develop, capture, edit, store, or deliver distance education courses.
- Facility costs (such as audio/video wiring for cameras and microphones, classroom equipment and wiring, and installation costs) associated with distance education courses.
- Costs associated with broadcast and collaboration systems, learning management systems, and related testing and evaluation services.
- Costs associated with support functions for developing, capturing, editing, and delivering distance education courses.
- Labor costs for specialized and contracted course development work.
Our delivery fee refund policy is aligned with the university tuition refund policy.
We must adhere to strict guidelines when granting refunds and base our refund policyon the refund schedule defined by the Registrar’s Office and described at the URL below.

If there are special circumstances surrounding a course drop and you wish to
seek a tuition refund, you should contact the fees section of the Office of the Registrar.
If a refund is issued, we will match the same refund percentage offered by the Registrar’s Office.
